T1Nexus Press Release 2026
T1Nexus, a leader in third-party optical transceivers, is set to make a major impact at AI Infra Summit this year, showcasing a suite of innovations designed to simplify network architecture, reduce costs, and accelerate deployment speeds. As the industry pushes toward higher bandwidth and greater efficiency, T1Nexus is demonstrating its commitment to leading the charge with cutting-edge technology and a renewed focus on domestic manufacturing.
Attendees visiting the T1Nexus booth will get a firsthand look at the company’s latest advancements, including the revolutionary 100G ZR transceiver, the upcoming 1.6T technology, and the strategic launch of its sister company, US OPTO Corporation, right here in the United States.
Redefining Network Architecture with 100G ZR
The traditional barrier between routing and optical transport is dissolving. T1Nexus is showcasing the 100G ZR transceiver, a coherent optical module in a QSFP28 form factor that turns a standard router port into a fully functional DWDM endpoint.
By embedding advanced coherent detection technology, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and tunable DWDM lasers directly into a pluggable module, the 100G ZR enables 100 Gigabit Ethernet transmission over distances of up to 80km or more. This eliminates the need for separate, expensive transport hardware—collapsing the network stack for unparalleled simplification and cost efficiency.
Pioneering the Future with 1.6T
Looking beyond current infrastructure needs, T1Nexus is also previewing its upcoming 1.6T transceiver technology. Leveraging the OSFP224 form factor, these modules will utilize 8 lanes running PAM4 modulation to achieve 224Gbps per lane.
Designed to meet the explosive demands of AI/ML training clusters and hyper-scale data centers, the 1.6T modules will offer power consumption in the range of 22W to 28W, available in both Integrated Heat Sink (IHS) and Riding Heat Sink (RHS) cooling options. Sampling is available now, with full production expected to be operational in the U.S. by the end of the year.
Strengthening the Supply Chain: T1Nexus Powered by US OPTO
In a significant move to ensure supply chain resilience and domestic manufacturing capability, T1Nexus is introducing its sister company, US OPTO Corporation, to the trade show floor. US OPTO delivers high-performance optical transceivers with rapid support from its headquarters in Fremont, California, and high-volume manufacturing in Penang, Malaysia.
US OPTO will manufacture 400G, 800G, and 1.6T optics in the United States, bridging the gap between rapid Silicon Valley innovation and secure, domestic production. This initiative ensures T1Nexus can now offer clients "T1Nexus Powered by US OPTO" products, guaranteeing performance, speed, interoperability, and a robust North American and Penang, Malaysia supply chain.
