Chris Zaharias
Chris Zaharias is VP of U.S. Operations at Spanish AI unicorn Multiverse Computing, where he leads enterprise business development and partnerships across North America. Multiverse Computing is the company behind CompactifAI, a model compression platform built on tensor network methods drawn from quantum many-body physics, used by HP, Telefónica, and other enterprise customers to reduce inference memory footprint and cost. Chris works with silicon vendors, device OEMs, cloud providers, and system integrators on bringing compressed frontier models onto hardware that previously could not host them. A 30-year startup sales veteran, Chris thoroughly enjoys building and running highly successful sales organizations in emerging markets characterized by rapid growth and technological innovation. After getting his start building Netscape's European sales team, he built and ran sales at Efficient Frontier, who was the first to apply ML to optimizing AdWords for eBay, AWS, Expedia and BankRate before being acquired by Adobe. After Efficient Frontier, Chris was VP Search Sales at Omniture (also acquired by Adobe), helped AppLovin in its early years, and built his own B2B SaaS business, SearchQuant, which was used by over 300 companies including Snowflake, Uber, Northwestern Mutual, AppLovin, Wells Fargo and Lyft.
