David Goldman is a Partner at Celesta Capital, a global deep tech venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley with more than $1.1B in assets under management. In his role at Celesta, David leverages his diverse operating and venture experience to source and evaluate compelling investment opportunities, lead deal architecture, and closely advise portfolio companies on business strategy and growth.

Prior to Celesta, David was an Investor at Paxion Capital, a multi-family investment office with more than $1.5B of assets. During his time at Paxion, David also served as a Finance Operating Partner, taking a global senior management role for a $1B+ portfolio company operating across Saudi Arabia, India, and the U.S. He started his career at boutique investment bank DBO Partners (acq. Piper Sandler) advising on M&A and capital raise deals for semiconductor and infrastructure software companies.

David serves as a Board Director and observer for early-stage technology companies including Orchestro.ai, PowerLattice, Velaura AI, 5C Network, Calumino, and Very Good Ventures. 

David earned an MS in Finance from the Wharton School and an MA in International Studies as part of the Huntsman Program at UPenn.
