Dr. Sambit Sahu is MVP, LLM Core & Agentic AI within AI Foundations at Capital One, where he leads Large Language Model pre-training and inference optimization. Previously, Sambit was at Amazon, where he led a team responsible for LLM pretraining and various runtime services and was part of the core effort that successfully enabled Alexa on LLM. Prior to Amazon, Sambit was at IBM Watson Research for over 22 years, where he led various groups focused on research and innovations at the intersection of AI and distributed systems. Sambit also teaches graduate-level courses in cloud computing and big data at Columbia University and New York University.
