Irene Perali
Irene Perali is a Principal Engineer in Wayve’s Robotics team, where she leads vehicle generalization efforts to enable Wayve’s AI Driver to operate reliably across different vehicle platforms, sensor configurations, compute architectures, and vehicle dynamics. Her work sits at the intersection of AI, robotics, hardware, vehicle software, and validation, translating complex system-level challenges into scalable solutions for production vehicles. Irene has more than a decade of experience in autonomous systems, with previous roles at Apple, Zoox, and Cruise spanning sensing architecture, safety, systems integration, and validation. She holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
