Jake Ring is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Power and Data Management (PDM), a leading provider of critical power infrastructure solutions serving the data center, utility, industrial, and energy markets.
A serial entrepreneur and recognized leader in power and digital infrastructure, Jake has spent more than 25 years building, scaling, and transforming high-growth businesses across the data center, energy, telecommunications, and technology sectors. Throughout his career, he has founded successful companies, led enterprise transformations for Fortune 100 organizations, and developed growth strategies that generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and sustained profitability.
Prior to PDM, Jake founded and led several pioneering data center companies, including DC BLOX and GIGA Data Centers, helping shape next-generation approaches to colocation, modular infrastructure, and high-density computing environments. He also created and led GE Critical Power, building the business into a $740 million operation and establishing strategic relationships with hyperscale cloud providers, mission-critical facilities, and enterprise infrastructure customers.
Under Jake’s leadership, PDM has become one of the fastest-growing providers of utility-grade critical power infrastructure in North America, powering more than 6 gigawatts of customer projects in its first four years and supporting many of the world’s leading data center developers, hyperscalers, utilities, and industrial operators. The company has earned a reputation for solving some of the industry’s most complex power delivery challenges through innovative engineering, strategic manufacturing partnerships, and accelerated deployment models.
