Jasmit Kaur Saluja is a technical lead at Meta and a distributed-systems specialist with 14 years of experience building infrastructure at global scale. She was a founding member and lead engineer on the Facebook Ordered Queueing Service(FOQS), Meta's distributed priority queue that scaled from thousands to trillions of tasks per day across Meta's products and AI system. As an engineering manager, she went on to lead Meta's Functions-as-a-Service(FaaS) team, driving the strategy and reliability of the company's next-generation serverless compute platform. She now works at the intersection of large-scale distributed systems and AI.
