Jon Calalang

Jon Calalang is a Solutions Architect at F5, where he works with global technology partners on architectures for delivering and securing enterprise AI and Kubernetes-based workloads at scale. He collaborated with World Wide Technology on the ARMOR framework, a blueprint for building security, governance, and compliance into enterprise-scale AI deployments from the start, and his current work centers on the AI service plane: the layer of infrastructure that decides how inference traffic is routed, secured, and observed across the pipeline. A hands-on practitioner, Jon has spent more than a decade designing, automating, and operating application delivery and security environments, publishes open-source automation used across the F5 engineering community, and produces a hands-on lab video series for infrastructure engineers. His partner work spans AI infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
