Miguel is AI Chief Architect at Shield AI where he leads training and deployment of frontier models for autonomy and defense. Prior to SAI, Miguel was at Meta where he worked on multi-modality, and at large media conglomerates like Disney where he built AI teams and data labs. Miguel holds a PhD in ML from NYU and lives in Los Angeles with his family.
