Nivead Appukuttan is a technology leader driving the future of AI-native reliability engineering and autonomous software operations. As Director of AI/ML Platforms Reliability at JPMorgan Chase, he leads Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Observability Engineering for AI/ML platforms. With nearly two decades of experience across startups, large technology companies, and global financial institutions, he has led large scale transformations in cloud infrastructure, observability, and reliability.

Today, his work is focused on redefining the future of reliability engineering through Agentic AI. He is pioneering autonomous SRE systems where intelligent AI agents collaborate with engineers to continuously improve system reliability. His vision is to move beyond traditional automation toward self-operating platforms that enable engineering teams to spend less time managing infrastructure and more time driving innovation.
