Omar Hassen, co‑founder and Chief Product Officer at Eridu, is a seasoned technology executive with 30 years of experience spanning early‑stage startups and large publicly traded companies. Over the course of his career, Omar has led multiple high‑impact product and engineering teams, including serving as SVP of Business Development at Ventana, where he drove market development, customer engagement, and strategic partnerships, and chairing key committees for RISC‑V International in 2022 and 2023; VP/GM of the Connectivity Business Unit at AppliedMicro, guiding its transition to optical communications and contributing to the company’s acquisition by MACOM; Executive Director at International Rectifier, where he managed product lines exceeding $90M in annual revenue; Senior Director at Marvell, leading the Retail WiFi product line; and multiple influential positions at Broadcom, where he began as a switch architect before moving into marketing to drive development of the company’s first high‑density 10G Ethernet switch. Earlier in his career, Omar co‑founded Entridia, a semiconductor startup focused on WAN network processors, where he conceived and defined a groundbreaking architecture that set new performance standards. Omar holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from California State University, Long Beach and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
