Ping Yan is a leader in AI-driven security and autonomous systems, currently heading AI Autonomous Offensive Engineering at HackerOne, where she focuses on advancing next-generation offensive capabilities powered by intelligent agents. Previously, Ping served as Senior Director of Security Data Science at Salesforce, leading teams that protected one of the world’s largest SaaS ecosystems. Over the past decade, she has specialized in applying AI and large-scale data systems to detect and respond to sophisticated threats - from credential abuse to nation-state actors. Ping is recognized for bridging strategy and execution, translating research into production-grade systems that scale. Her work has been published in journals, monographs, and books, and she is a frequent invited speaker at leading AI and security conferences, including Spark Summit, Canwest, and OWASP events. She holds a PhD in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona and is the inventor on multiple U.S. patents.
