Prasanna C
Prasanna C is Chief Product Officer at Lightstorm, where he leads the overall product portfolio, including Polarin, the company's platform for on-demand self-provisioned global connectivity.
Lightstorm is the AI connectivity platform built to interconnect intelligence. Its SmartNet AI Fabric provides purpose-built, low-jitter, loss-optimised transport across 30,000+ km of terrestrial fibre, 21,000+ km of subsea fibre, and 100+ connected data centres globally.
His current work is on the interconnect layer for distributed AI — quantifying the gap between the fabric GPUs are designed around and the wide-area networks those workloads increasingly have to cross. He authored Lightstorm's scale-across research and is building an instrumented long-haul measurement programme to test it against live plant.
