Sabareesh leads the development of real-time inference engines that enable fully autonomous driving. A founding member of Waymo’s custom compute group, Sabareesh specializes in model-hardware co-design, optimizing complex sensor fusion and predictive models for peak performance under strict latency constraints. Prior to Waymo, Sabareesh worked on the design of Apple's custom CPUs, including their first generation matrix extensions. Sabareesh holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
