Sachin Menon

Sachin Menon is a seasoned technology leader and the Vice President of Strategic Customer Engineering at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). With over 20 years of experience as a technologist and leadership, Sachin leads Oracle's OCI Global AI Infrastructure and Cloud Native engineering business. He holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore, providing a deep academic foundation for his work in complex silicon and systems architecture.

As a "day zero" leader within the OCI AI ecosystem, Sachin has been intimately involved with the platform’s AI infrastructure since its very first customer. He is a hands-on executive who excels at identifying architectural patterns and developing the operating models required to power the world’s most demanding AI workloads. His expertise lies in extreme-scale engineering, notably leading the scaling of AI customers to environments featuring tens of thousands of GPUs for massive training and inference workloads.

Sachin’s architectural reach extends from the hyperscale data center to the edge across diverse set of industries and Government organizations; notably architected AI-on-the-edge solutions for Life Sciences and developed mission-critical patterns for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). He leads a global organization of engineers and architects dedicated to helping AI labs, enterprises and Governments, conceptualize and realize digital transformation through strategic IaaS, cloud-native and AI solutions. His team is at the forefront of innovation, responsible for incubating next-generation technologies and architectural patterns in AI and Generative AI.

Beyond the data center, Sachin is a dedicated mentor committed to building high-performing engineering cultures. Outside of the office, he is a vinyl enthusiast and a student of ancient wisdom, often finding parallels between the structured world of architecture and the timeless patterns of philosophy.
