Siamak Tavallaei

Mr. Siamak Tavallaei is a seasoned systems architect and technology strategist with more than three decades of experience in memory systems, interconnect technologies, and hyperscale infrastructure. He currently serves as Senior Principal Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor Inc., following leadership roles at Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, HP, and Compaq, and holds more than 50 patents in server architecture, disaggregated computing, and fault management. A longtime leader within the CXL Consortium, Mr. Tavallaei has served as President, Board Director, Independent Advisor to the Board, founding Co-Chair of the Technical Task Force, and a member of the Marketing and Protocol Working Groups. He is also a longstanding contributor to the Open Compute Project, helping advance specifications and technologies for modular, composable, and AI infrastructure. His deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and ability to bring stakeholders together continue to advance open, high-performance computing ecosystems.
