With a degree in Electrical Engineering and over 15 years in the industry, Stefan Krassin started where the software meets the silicon. As an embedded developer working on GPUs and accelerators, that low-level technical foundation shapes everything he builds today.

Over the past decade and a half, Stefan has built and grown technology companies from scratch. He knows where engineering meets market, and focuses on the problems that sit between the two: the ones that are technically hard and commercially overlooked.

In early 2023, he co-founded yasp with a strong and experienced technical team to build Platformless AI Infrastructure. Their conviction: the AI industry got remarkably good at building models, but never got good at freeing them. Hardware is diversifying, but the software to deploy across it isn't keeping up. yasp solves this by compiling AI models to run on any silicon, from a single codebase. One model, any target, no re-engineering. The hardware choice belongs to the builder. yasp makes sure the software keeps up.
