Steve Knighton is Vice President and General Manager for Mortenson’s Data Center operations, bringing more than 25 years of construction industry experience to the role. He leads project acquisition, preconstruction and construction services as well as business development for complex, hyperscale data centers. Known for his strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style, Steve is deeply committed to building strong teams and delivering predictable, high-quality outcomes for clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University, is a DBIA and LEED Accredited Professional, and was named ENR Southwest’s Top 20 Under 40 in 2015.
