Tyler H. Norris is Head of Market Innovation on Google’s Advanced Energy team, focused on modernizing power systems for AI-driven load growth. He is the lead author of the seminal Duke University Nicholas Institute study, “Rethinking Load Growth,” for which he was named to the TIME100 Climate 2025 list and invited to testify to Congress. He previously served as VP of Development at Cypress Creek Renewables, Director at S&P Global, and Special Advisor for Technology Commercialization at the U.S. Department of Energy. He co-chairs ESIG’s Large Load Working Group and his writing has appeared in the New York Times, Foreign Affairs, Energy Policy, and other publications. He is a James B. Duke Fellow at Duke University and holds a BA from Stanford University.
