Usman Ali, Ph.D., is an ASIC Engineer (Architecture) in Meta’s Silicon group, where he focuses on the architecture and performance of the next generation of the Meta Training and Inference Accelerator (MTIA). Holding a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, Dr. Ali has expertise in high-performance computer architectures and micro-architectural security, specializing in the complex design of on-chip and off-chip interconnects and memory subsystems in multi-chiplet heterogeneous systems-on-chip (SoCs) for massive-scale AI workloads.
