Usman Shuja
Usman Shuja currently serves as CEO of Bluebeam, a leading software for AEC with 4M users, and as a member of the Executive Board of Nemetschek (FWB: NEM), one of the world’s largest listed software groups and the second-largest software company listed on Deutsche Börse AG, Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In this role, he operates at a public-market scale, overseeing software businesses serving architects, engineers, and builders across 100+ countries. At Bluebeam, he has led an industry-leading software company through a stalled-growth phase to double revenue in two years while expanding EBITDA margins. Usman re-architected the business model to subscription, launched the first AI-powered product module, and elevated GTM and culture to achieve a Rule of 80 performance profile (growth plus EBITDA). At Honeywell, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for its flagship software business, led its largest software acquisition, drove sustained double-digit growth and put Honeywell on the software map. Earlier, he was a founding executive at an AI company that scaled to unicorn valuation by applying machine learning to industrial, aerospace, energy, and defense-adjacent use cases—where safety, reliability, and real-world constraints are paramount. He has advised DARPA, spoken at global forums including Milken Institute and SXSW. He holds an MPA from Harvard University’s Kennedy School and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
