Vinay Kuruvila is Chief Technology Officer at Tinder, where he leads technology, AI, and product innovation across the platform, with a mandate to strengthen Tinder's core platform while exploring new ways to foster authentic connections through product design and AI-enabled features. He also serves as GM of Match Group Core, providing AI capabilities and shared services across Match Group's portfolio of brands. Kuruvila brings nearly two decades of engineering and product leadership to the role. Before joining Tinder, he was CTO of brightwheel, the fastest-growing platform in early education, and led the engineering organization behind Venmo's customer-facing products during a period that saw revenue double to more than $950M. He began his career at Amazon, where he joined Amazon Photos at the idea stage and helped scale it into a global business. Kuruvila holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, where he graduated with highest honors.
