Yao Morin joined JLL in 2020 and has served as Chief Technology Officer since 2023. Yao oversees a centralized engineering group of more than 800 team members that is responsible for the company’s global technology strategy, product roadmap and delivery.

Yao has spearheaded several innovation initiatives that set a precedent not only for JLL, but for the broader real estate industry. This includes her work establishing comprehensive data governance and integration across the company’s various lines of business and hundreds of data sources. Under Yao’s leadership, JLL has built upon its years-long AI strategy to position itself as a leader in generative and agentic AI for commercial real estate through its next generation AI platform, JLL Falcon.    

Prior to JLL, Yao served as Chief Data Officer and Head of U.S. Engineering at StubHub, where she defined and championed StubHub’s company-wide data strategy and oversaw the execution of a complete data transformation. She also drove the development and modernization of Intuit’s data infrastructure while serving as head of data science and machine learning engineering and principal data scientist.
