Ultra Ethernet (UE) is an open, interoperable, high-performance, Ethernet-based communications architecture designed to meet the growing network demands of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing at scale.

The work is advanced through the Ultra Ethernet Consortium (UEC), a Joint Development Foundation project and an affiliate of the Linux Foundation. UEC brings together organizations across the networking, silicon, systems, storage, software, and cloud ecosystems to develop scalable, reliable, and multi-vendor infrastructure for AI and HPC environments.
