Take the decision off the model.

Every RAG system, agent framework and "AI assistant" has the same shape: retrieve some context, hand it to a language model, and let the model decide. The retrieval biases the answer. The model still produces it, so the answer moves when the sampler moves, and you cannot audit what you cannot reproduce.

Palantir's insight was to invert that: put the ontology at the centre and the model at the edge. We agree, and take it further.

Compile-Time Inference does the expensive thinking when the data arrives, not when the question is asked. Facts are extracted, scored, and compiled into a live cited substrate. At query time the answer is selected from that substrate, an argmax over compiled state, not over vocabulary and the model's only remaining job is to explain the facts it was handed.

Identical facts, identical action. The action changes only when the facts do.

Ask something the record doesn't cover and you get a refusal, not a guess. Every claim carries its receipt: the source, the timestamp, and the artifact you can open and check yourself.

Deterministic. Cited. Auditable. No data, no response.
