LPDDR for General-Purpose and AI Workloads in Large-Scale Data Center Deployments
This joint Micron and Meta study analyzes LPDDR5X performance across bandwidth, latency, capacity, and power efficiency dimensions using Meta's DCPerf benchmark suite. Findings show improved performance, throughput gains in memory-constrained workloads, reduced latency, and significantly lower power consumption compared with traditional DDR5 memory, making LPDDR5X a compelling option for large-scale AI and cloud deployments.
